Erik Bondo, Founder & CEO

Erik joined the construction industry in 2004, and his skill set includes sales, development, estimating, scheduling, purchasing, personnel management, financial reporting and forecasting, standardization, process improvement, business operations, and planning, change management, subcontract management, and risk management.

 

One of Erik’s most valuable attributes is a proven ability to jump into challenging projects mid-stream and quickly and effectively identify issues, create pathways to improvement, enhance credibility, problem-solve, and restore and strengthen Owner-Contractor relationships. 

 

Erik has completed a wide range of public and private projects for universities, hospitals, public agencies, real-estate investment trusts, composting facilities, and critical environments.

Scott Brown, National Mass Timber Specialist

With over 24 years of construction and manufacturing leadership experience, Scott Brown is the National Mass Timber Specialist at DPR Construction. Scott has developed deep expertise in vertically integrated volumetric modular technology, the integration and utilization of prefab components, and profound knowledge of design for manufacturing and assembly processes in both prefabrication and mass timber. Scott’s passion is evident in his work. His unique perspective, drawn from his experience managing job sites and manufacturing facilities, enables him to drive the evolution of integrating manufactured components into construction processes. Scott is dedicated to advancing DPR’s national mass timber strategy, taking DPR’s “ever forward” approach to prefabrication and industrialized construction to the next level, transitioning from traditional field construction to offsite manufacturing and field assembly.

Generate Design has pioneered a powerful software solution aimed at enhancing and expediting design, feasibility, and procurement for MT Buildings of all types. They are in charge of the upfront planning that sets the entire project on the right footing. Addressing key aspects of the design and building early on helps prevent costly problems down the line. Generate Design manages those early phases, such as materials procurement, local building codes, etc. â€‹

Ethan Martin, Mass Timber Expert

Graduated from Cornell University with a strong background in building theory for steel and concrete building design. Began studies of masonry and wood after college. Started my own engineering firm and began researching the environmental impacts of building materials. Realized the benefits of mixed material buildings using materials where they make the most sense structurally, aesthetically, and environmentally. Currently assisting architects, engineers, developers, and contractors with the design and construction of wood buildings for the Wood Products Council. 

McKinstry brings extensive MEP capabilities to the team, providing state-of-the-art Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) solutions to make the MT data center faster, safer, and more affordable. McKinstry’s expertise allows us to build large-scale data centers that are not just competitive with typical steel and concrete buildings but superior in many ways. â€‹
